The bottom base is an uneven wood log. This piece can sit flat on surfaces.

The top of the wood piece is purposely uneven with many ridges and pieces.

A large clear glass bowl sits perfectly on top of this wood log.

The bottom of the glass bowl has been molded to the exact shape of the wood log, so it can sit just right on top.

The glass bowl is perfectly uneven and not a perfect rounded shape.

The two pieces are glued together.
