Vintage Cloisonne Lidded Round Box With Flower Image
A collectible round, low-profile covered vessel featuring an intricate Chinese cloisonné enamel decoration set against a textured white ground filled with swirling wire-cloud patterns. Vibrant pink, red, and yellow peony blossoms with green foliage emerge around a mottled blue scholar’s rock on the slightly domed lid. Distinctive scalloped ruyi-head borders in shades of blue and deep red encircle the rims of both the lid and the base. A prominent metallic-gold lotus bud finial crowns the center of the lid, serving as a functional handle. The interior is finished in a soft light blue enamel that complements the exterior coloration.
